Dr. Aziizu Issifu is a Lawyer with Blagogee, Blacksword & Co and an accomplished Development Project Management Expert with a strong grasp on issues of policy, governance and development. Dr. Aziizu has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of development advocacy, project initiation to completion, development law, policy advocacy; public policy reform in the areas of healthcare reform, natural resource governance, agricultural sector, water and sanitation sector reform, women’s rights, agricultural value chains, small business support; rights-based approaches to development; community organizing and mobilisation. Dr. Aziizu Issifu is a product of University of Cape Coast (Bachelor of Education with a major in Business Management), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (Bachelor of Laws-LLB) and also Master of Business Administration-Project Management Option, Ghana School of Law (Professional Law Certificate) and Honolulu (LU) University, USA (Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) specializing in Project Management). Dr Aziizu Issifu has been Consultant and led projects financed by European Union, World Bank/UNDP/ CORAF, DFID, UNDP, BUSAC, ECOWAS, DFID, USAID, GTZ, BUSAC, CAVA, DANIDA, IBIS, Action Aid International, Plan International, RTIMP, CBRDP, UNITED PURPOSE, SNV, CARE International, Oxfam, ADVANCE II, TECHNOSERVE. USAID ADVANCE. He has worked on projects in partnership with organisations in the UK, USA, Ghana, Vietnam, Nigeria, Netherlands, Thailand, Rwanda, Mozambique, Pakistan, Malawi, etc. He has also worked with academic and research institutions such as Greenwich University, Abeokuta University, University of Hanoi, Food Research Institute of Ghana.
